The MyFLIR app is a free tool that allows you to control the integrated thermal camera on the Cat S61 smartphone.
The S61's embedded Lepton Thermal Microcamera Module, powered by FLIR, visualises heat that is invisible to the naked eye, highlighting temperature contrasts, and is accessed on the S61 via the specially designed MyFLIR thermal camera Android™ app.
The MyFLIR app enables you to access the camera on the S61 and use its capabilities in a variety of ways, including:
- Viewing heat maps of areas on the surface of objects, enabling you to identify hot spots and areas that need to be heated, cooled or humidified.
- Determining the rate at which an object is heating up, allowing you to take action to avoid damage or collapse.
- Determining the rate at which an object is cooling down, allowing you to take action to stop the cooling process before it is too late.
- Viewing the current and maximum temperature of an object.
